Kamal Haasan congratulates Ishaan Khatter for his next Pippa!

A lot of controversy was caused after the biographical war picture Pippa, starring Ishaan Khatter, was released on Netflix. It is noteworthy for being set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, in which Khatter plays Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta.

 

After seeing Pippa, renowned actor Kamal Haasan lauded Ishaan Khatter on social media, where fans showered the film with appreciation. After seeing the film, the late great Kamal Haasan complimented the Pippa team after watching it.

 

According to the insider, Haasan also wished Khatter well on his performance, remarking that "it reminded him of himself when he was Ishaan’s age."

 

Right now, the young actor is enjoying the success of his most recent project, Pippa. The actor had earlier expressed gratitude to the crew for their tireless efforts in making an exciting binge worthy film.

 

Pippa, which was directed by Raja Krishna Menon, features actress Mrunal Thakur in a pivotal role. Actors Soni Razdan and Priyanshu Painyuli are also included. Pippa, which debuted on Amazon Prime Video on November 10, is based on actual events that happened during the Battle of Garibpur.
