Deepika Padukone's Emotional Journey: Returning to Work After Dua's Arrival!

Deepika Padukone became a mother in 2024 when she gave birth to her daughter, Dua. The actress frequently uploads relatable content on social media and has been enjoying this stage of her life. Deepika disclosed that she was attempting to find a way to return to work guilt-free at a recent international event. She also discussed whether having a child has affected her filmmaking decisions.

 

Recently, Deepika Padukone travelled to Abu Dhabi to attend the 2025 Forbes 30/50 Summit. She was questioned in a conversation if having a child had altered the way she approached roles. The actress referred to motherhood as "incredible" and was certain that it will have some sort of impact on her future choices for roles and movies. She added that even prior to becoming a mother, she had been attentive and aware.

 

Deepika added that she was attempting to juggle her career and being a new mother at one time in her life. She told, “So to be able to manage my daughter and her life and get back to work without the guilt, I think that is something I'm figuring out.” According to Deepika, she was figuring things out rather than suffering with it.

 

The daughter of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone was born on September 8, 2024. The couple announced the name of their baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh, on the subsequent Diwali. Following the birth, Deepika avoided public appearances for a while. She has resumed going to important occasions, though.
