Subhash Ghai talks about Taal's unusual poster left film industry and media shocked!
Subhash Ghai recently revealed on social media his thoughts on the striking impact of Taal's poster, which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and was released in 1999. He revealed, “My film industry n media was shocked when I introduced the film TAAL with this picture in 1999 on hoardings coz it was very unlike my movie posters.” Taal is now set for a special re-release in 136 Indian theaters beginning tomorrow, September 27.
Subhash Ghai came to Instagram today, September 26, to show a lovely poster of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wearing a brilliant orange dress. This eye-catching graphic not only shows Aishwarya's style, but it also includes the titles of all of the film's music tracks. In his essay, Ghai reminisced on the initial shock the poster generated when it was released in 1999, stating that both the film business and the media were taken aback by its uniqueness in comparison to his prior efforts.
However, he stated that after Taal's music was released, everyone appreciated his artistic vision in terms of sound and images. "BUT When music of TAAL was released soon - every one lauded my aesthetics in sound n visuals both," he told. Subhash expressed his pleasure for the film's re-release tomorrow at 136 theatres across India.
