The End of an Era: Kapoor Family's Emotional Farewell to Nirmal Kapoor!

Actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, as well as producer Boney Kapoor, lost their mother, Nirmal Kapoor, on May 2, 2025. Age-related illnesses claimed the 90-year-old's life at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. There was a prayer meeting a few days later. Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, and other celebrities gave a heartfelt homage to their grandma following the ceremony.

 

The whole Kapoor family came together on May 2 and 3 to bid their matriarch, Nirmal Kapoor, a heartfelt farewell following her death in Mumbai. The Bollywood family attended a prayer meeting that was held the following day, on May 5, 2025. Soon after, the deceased's grandchildren paid a heartfelt homage to her on social media.

 

During the event, Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Anshula Kapoor dropped a huge framed picture of their grandma. The image was displayed on a wall covered with green foliage and embellished with yellow and white flowers. With bouquets of flowers arranged in remembrance of the deceased soul, the space was additionally illuminated by a number of candles.

 

Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, visited Nirmal Kapoor's house in Mumbai following the unexpected death of the Kapoor family's patriarch. After spending time with their family and avoiding any media attention, the pair was later spotted leaving. When Singham Again star Arjun arrived at his grandmother's residence, he was also photographed by paparazzi. He was wearing flared black pants and a white shirt.

 

Along with their father, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor also visited their grandmother's home. Sanjay Kapoor and his spouse, Maheep Kapoor, arrived at the Kapoor residence apart from them. Amitabh Bachchan's son, actor Agastya Nanda from The Archies, and daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, also came to offer their condolences to the family.

In addition to them, Bollywood stars Anupam Kher, Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Farah Khan, and others were spotted visiting Nirmal Kapoor's home to pay their final respects.
