Mahaakshay reacts to his dad Mithun Chakraborty getting Padma Bhushan!

President Draupadi Murmu bestowed the esteemed Padma Bhushan Award in the arts to famous Indian actor Mithun Chakraborty on April 22.

 

Mahaakshay Chakraborty, the son of Chakraborty, wrote an emotional post a while back expressing his pride in his father for accomplishing this incredible feat.

 

The son of Mithun Chakraborty, actor Mahaakshay Chakraborty, posted several pictures of his father with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Instagram a few hours ago. A few shots also showed the elderly celebrity accepting President Draupadi Murmu's Padma Bhushan Award at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

 

Mahaakshay referred to his dad as his "hero" while sharing the photo album.  His emotive note for his father read, “What an honor and privilege it is to be your son! You are my hero dad! The greatest man I know and you are so deserving of this award! Congrats on your Padma Bhushan Award.”
