Big B, AR Rahman and Randeep Hooda to receive Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar!

With multiple awards to his name, Amitabh Bachchan is a household figure in the Indian cinema business. He is scheduled to receive the Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Puruskar in the near future, which would add another feather to his cap.

 

Every year, this esteemed honor is given to a person who has revolutionized the country, its citizens, or society. AR Rahman and Randeep Hooda are joining him in accepting this prize.

 

The Mangeshkar family said in a press statement on Tuesday that Amitabh Bachchan would receive the esteemed Lata Deenanath Mangeshkar Award. This award honours those who have had a significant influence on society and was established in memory of Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away in 2022.

 

On 24 April, the day they remember their father, the legendary theater and music star Deenanath Mangeshkar, 81-year-old Bachchan will get this accolade.

 

The prize was previously given to Asha Bhosle, the sister of Lata Mangeshkar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2023. The press announcement also revealed that A R Rahman, for his outstanding contributions to Indian music, will be awarded the Master Deenanath Mangeshkar Puraskar. In addition, Randeep Hooda will receive the Vishesh Puraskar in recognition of his outstanding contributions to film.
