South celebs light diyas for #9baje9minute!

Recently, PM Narendra Modi had made an appeal to the people to light up diyas, candles and flash their mobile torch lights to show solidarity for all those who are fighting the Coronavirus outbreak on the front lines.

 

Many south stars took to their social media handles to shares pictures of them lighting up candles and diyas in support of the #9baje9minute. On PM’s appeal, South celebs too part in this noble event and shared photos and videos of themselves on their social media handles. South stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, Raashi Khanna, Venkatesh Daggubati, Varun Tej, Pooja Hegde, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, Pooja Hegde, Rakul Preet Singh, Nagarjuna Akkineni, etc. are a few to name who stood in solidarity and lighted diyas for the event.

 

Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni shared a photo on his Twitter handle along with wife and son Akhil.

 

Southern beauty Pooja Hegde also shared a photo, wherein she is lighting up diyas and candle in her balcony to show her support for the #9baje9minute.

 

The south biggies like Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun shared their photographs as they light candles to show their solidarity for the #9baje9minute call. Mahesh Babu shared a photo of him holding a candle and urging fans to stay indoors and to stay safe. Allu Arjun also shared a photo of him along with his family.

 

South superstar Rajinikanth and wife Latha light up candles to show support for the #9baje9minute call.

 

The southern beauty Rakul Preet Singh expressed her support for the #9baje9minute call by lighting up a diya at her balcony.

 

Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal have also obliged with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's #9baje9minute call. Check out their posts. Tamannaah Bhatia has posted a couple of pictures on Instagram in which she can be seen lighting up candle lamps along with her family members. She writes, “The wound is the place where the light enters you. Lighting the feeling of hope, positivity, and strength with my family. We are all in this together!” Kajal Aggarwal has also shared a video in which she can be seen lighting diyas (earthen lamps).
