Recently, Sidharth Malhotra jetted off to Kargil to begin the shooting of Shershaah. Soon after, Article 370 was eliminated due to which the shooting of the movie was stalled for a couple of days, and in the newest, it is being reported that Sidharth Malhotra met with an accident.

As per a report, the incident took place on Saturday while Sidharth was riding a motorcycle on the hilly terrain. “After the shoot, Sid and Shiv (Pandit, co-star) had ventured out for a ride when Shiv lost his balance and slipped off his bike. Sid, who was right behind him, had to apply brakes due to which his bike skidded, resulting in hand and leg injuries,” as per a daily.

Instantly, the cast and crew of the movie took Sid and Shiv to the nearby army hospital. But what is amazing is that despite the accident, Sidharth continued to shoot on Sunday because a crew of 150 people was already on board “for a pivotal scene, for which a massive set-up was put together.” Post shooting on Sunday, Sidharth rested on Monday and the Student of the year informed that it will take some time for the injury to heal but given the schedule and scale of the film, Sidharth tells that he didn’t have the time to recover. Speaking about the injury and the shoot, Sidharth said that for him, shooting in Kargil is a completely new experience and also because a lot of movies haven’t been shot in Kargil. For Shershaah, the actor informs that they are tapping into unexplored locations because they want to be reliable when it comes to the war. “We have shot in the mountains similar to the ones where the battles were fought. The rocks were extremely sharp, and they can’t be controlled. So, there were safety concerns while we filmed action sequences and the team did everything to ensure we were comfortable,” revealed Sidharth.
